Liverpool born Emma began her professional career the the age of 9 playing the title role in the musical of ‘Annie’ touring the UK. She was the youngest to have played the role professionally.
Here in Liverpool she trained at the Elliot Clarkes and Elizabeth Hill school of Dance.
At 16 she went onto train at the Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts at 16, she left the course early as she was cast in the tour of ‘Les Miserables’.
Immediately after she played “Maisie” in “Her Benny” at the Liverpool Empire. Emma the enjoyed a long spell in London’s West End playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in “Miss Saigon” where she was understuding Ellen and then went onto play the part. From there she went straight into ‘Oliver” at the London Palladium playing the “Milkmaid” and understudying Ruthie Henshall in the role of “Nancy”.
It was at this point Emma worked at the Domar Warehouse in David Leveaux’s production of “Nine” and then straight into playing the role of “Rizzo’ in the musical “Grease” at the Cambridge Theatre.
Emma has also toured opposite Shane Richie in “Boogie Nights” and the lead role of “Carmen’ in “Fame” – a stadium tour throughout Norway and Sweden.
She also developed the role of “Emma” in “Inkul & Yariko” which took her to Washington D.C.
Emma’s most recent theatre work saw her tour as “Mary Magdelene” in “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Eva” in “Our Benny” at the Liverpool Empire..
As well as appearing in many Pantomimes Emma has also performed her one woman show, which she took to New York, and has recorded her debut album”Where do you start” along with her Musical director Mike England.
Her TV work includes, “Nice Guy Eddie”, “Shameless”, “Hollyoaks”, “Brookside”, “Crimewatch” and “Lillies”..
She has also appeared in numerous concerts including”les Miserables 10th Anniversary’ at the Albert Hall and playing Liza Minelli at the sporting club in Monte Carlo.
Emma has recently finished a successful national tour of her own production “Judy & liza” for which she received outstanding reviews!
